Koppal: At Hanumanmala Visarjana ceremony, Janardhan Reddy surprised the BJP and Congress leaders by visiting several temples and houses of political leaders in Gangavathi of the District on Tuesday December 7.
It is learnt that it was the local BJP leaders who took Reddy to various temples and houses of political leaders. They also conducted the press meet and held a secret meeting to convince him to support BJP in the next Assembly elections.
Gali Janardhana Reddy, who was staying at Pampa Sarovar on the night of Monday December 5, met Senior BJP Leader Singanala Virupakshappa on Tuesday December 6.
Thipperudraswamy, City Planning Authority Chairman S. Raghavendra Shetty, Keloji Santhosh, Mahalingappa Bannikoppa, Akki Chandrashekar, Manohara Gowda and others accompanied him. He visited Hirejanthagal Prasanna Pampavirupaksheshwara Temple, Pampapathi Temple and Kalmatha in Pampanagar and offered prayers and interacted with Dr. Kottur Mahaswamiji of Kalmatha along with his supporters.
Senior Leaders of the Lingayat community were also present on this occasion. City Muncipality Former Member Lalagonda Samaja Senior leader Hosalli Shankragowda went to his house and held secret talks for more than half an hour.
