Koppal: In a surprise development, Indian Movement Party candidate Tukaram Surve joined the BJP on Monday April 24.
BJP Candidate Doddanagouda Patil arrived at Tukaram Surve’s residence in Kushtagi and officially welcomed him to the BJP.
BJP candidate Doddanagouda Patil said, “Tukaram Surve, who was supposed to be the JD (S) candidate, was cheated by not giving B-form at the last moment. He filed his nomination papers from the Indian Movement Party. “Let us join hands to ensure justice to the voters who trusted us and take the lead in the development of the constituency,” he said, adding that he had joined the BJP without any conditions.
