Raichur: The second JMFC court has absolved well-known actress Pooja Gandhi of all charges pertaining to a poll code violation case, here on Saturday, December 23.
An FIR was registered against Pooja, who had contested on a BSR Congress ticket from Raichur in the 2013 Assembly elections for using a vehicle without permission while campaigning.
Speaking to mediapersons after the verdict, a relieved Pooja stated that she had full faith in the judicial system and the acquittal has brought her joy.
Further the actress added that while she no longer wishes to contest any election she will not stop visiting the district as she has developed an emotional attachment.
