Raichur: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah has lashed out at Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, calling him the “weakest chief minister.”
Speaking to the media here on Monday, September 30, he said, “BSY is the weakest Chief Minister. He is involved in ‘hate politics’ to which I did not resort when I was the Chief Minister. He should resign from his post.”
“It is an unholy government because it has failed to respond to the flood victims and release relief funds,” he added.
Siddaramaiah opined that the current CM BSY-led government had made sure that former minister D K Shivakumar was denied bail in connection with the alleged money laundering case, in an effort to control the Opposition. He added that it is still unclear why DKShi’s bail was denied.
Meanwhile, he accused the Central Government of misusing the agencies like the Enforcement Directorate, Income Tax (I-T) Department, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and others.
