Raichur: ADGP MA Saleem has assured the parents of the deceased engineering student, Madhu Pattar from the city that the police will probe the allegations of dereliction of duty in the investigation into the murder.
Saleem, who met the parents of the deceased Madhu Pattar at their residence discussed the ongoing investigation and collected a few information. Later, he also held discussion with the city police and the CID team, which is investigating the case.
He informed the parents that two officers are already kept under the suspension over various charges.
At the time of ADGP visit, Madhu Pattar’s family sought an investigating into the leak of their daughter’s photos with the arrested accused on the social media. They alleged that the accused released the photos just to mislead the investigation. Saleem assured of looking into the issue.
