Raichur: A typical sarcastic blow by former chief minister Siddaramaiah, on Tuesday in Mangaluru, calling the Opposition Leader in the Legislative Council Eshwarappa as “brainless fellow” has received a counter. Eshwarappa has asked Siddaramaiah if he has a ‘powerless leader.’
After visiting the drought-hit areas of the district, Eshwarappa addressed a press meet and asked the coalition government whether it was so incompetent that it had no voice to tell its district in-charge ministers concerned to visit and assess the drought-affected areas.
He said that they (Congress-Janata Dal (S)) are busy digging the matter of ‘Operation Kamala.’
Meanwhile, Eshwarappa said that they were not involved in ‘Operation Kamala’ and that if any of the Congress-JDS MLAs were willing to come to the Bharatiya Janata Party, then they would be welcomed whole-heartedly.
He also ridiculed KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao saying that he was only speaking about stringent actions to be taken on the Congress ministers and MLAs, who were violating the party code of conduct and that none of his words became a reality.
He termed Dinesh Gundu Rao as ‘Paper Tiger.’
“The reason behind calling Siddaramaiah a ‘powerless leader’ is because nothing in the coalition government is going according to his whims and fancies and despite being a chairperson of the coordination committee, he is not able to send even one minister to the districts concerned to assess the drought condition.
