Vijayanagara: The tasteeq allowance of priests at C – Grade temples will be increased in the Budget, said Muzrai, Hajj, and Wakf Minister Shashikala Annasaheb Jolle.
Speaking after inaugurating Sri Raghavendra Swamy Saptaha at Krishna Mutt here on the evening of Thursday March 3, she said the 6th Pay Commission’s recommendation for A – Grade Temple priests has been implemented. The health insurance cover has been provided to the priests coming under the department, she added.
All Temples will have access to drinking water, toilets, and other basic facilities, she added.
