Yadagiri: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s probable candidate for Lok Sabha from Kalaburgi constituency, Dr. Umesh Jadhav stated that there will not be a BJP-led government any more, here on Saturday, March 23.

Addressing a press meet at Khasa Matha of Gurmatkal town, Jadhav said that the political situation had changed and that there was no scope for the BJP to form a government.

However, immediately after this statement, he apologised that it was by mistake and that he wanted to say that Congress party had no chance of coming to power anymore.

Jadhav said, “It is because of Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge that the people of Hyderabad-Karnataka region have not seen any development and whoever connects with him have not sustained for long in the field of politics.”

“He has long forgotten that party leaders are responsible for his success and growth”, he added.

Meanwhile, speaking on the acceptance of his resignation by the Congress, he has opined that there wouldn’t be any legal issues or any other consequences. He said that he tendered his resignation before the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Ramesh Kumar and the BJP had already confirmed him a ticket from Kalaburgi constituency.
