The Karnataka Lokayukta initiated surprise raids across the state on Friday morning as part of investigations into disproportionate assets cases. Senior Lokayukta police officers revealed that raids were conducted at the premises of seven government officials. These raids were carried out in multiple cities: two each in Bengaluru and Belagavi, and one each in Chitradurga, Raichur, and Bagalkot. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to tackle corruption and asset misappropriation within the state government.
