Karnataka has outperformed the national average in the ICSE Class 10 examinations, recording an impressive 99.70% pass percentage compared to India’s 99.09%. A total of 29,745 students appeared from the state, comprising 14,953 boys (50.27%) and 14,792 girls (49.73%). Girls led the way with a pass rate of 99.82%, slightly higher than the 99.58% achieved by boys.

Among social categories, Scheduled Caste (SC) students secured a 99.41% pass rate, Scheduled Tribe (ST) students 99.37%, and Other Backward Classes (OBC) 99.56%.

Bengaluru student Pragati Girish Athreya from Greenwood High scored 99.80%, also earning distinction in grade 3 piano. She attributed her success to thorough preparation, teacher and peer support, and solving past papers. Music, ballet, and art helped her manage exam stress.

Ridhima Piyush Goswami from Vydehi School achieved 99.20%, exceeding her goal of 95%. She managed her time between 6–8 hours of study and classical kathak dance. Regular revisions, solving previous question papers, and learning from errors contributed to her perfect scores in history and geography. She plans to pursue PCM and prepare for JEE Mains.

Aarefa Nakhoda, author and student from Bethany High, scored 98.6%. She focused on mastering her textbooks and maintained a five-hour daily study schedule. Extracurriculars like singing and writing helped her with stress and time management. As exams neared, she cut back on hobbies but used music and poetry to stay calm.

Their stories reflect how focus, discipline, and balanced lifestyles can turn challenges into triumphs.
