
Karnataka Student Among 14 to Score 100 Percentile in JEE Mains Session 1
Only one student from Karnataka has achieved a perfect 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains Session 1, the results of which were announced on Tuesday. Kushagra Gupta, from Karnataka, is one of the 14 students nationwide to secure the top score in the examination held last month.
Other notable toppers from Karnataka who scored 99.99 percentile and above include Udit Jaiswal (99.996 percentile) from Geethanjali Vidyalaya, Kaggadasapura; Bhavesh Jayanth (99.9992 percentile) from Sari Chaitanya Techno School, Marathahalli; and Daksh Tayalia (99.993 percentile) from Sri Ram Global School, Whitefield.
Udit Jaiswal, who attended coaching at Allen, is interested in aerospace and rockets. Bhavesh Jayanth, with a keen interest in coding, aims to join Computer Science at a prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) by clearing JEE Advanced. Daksh Tayalia, an Olympiad enthusiast who won a gold medal at the Brazil Olympiad, attended coaching at Vedantu and aspires to join IIT Bombay.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the results for JEE (Main)-2025, session-1 on Tuesday evening. This year, the list includes a female student who scored 100 percentile. Rajasthan led with five students securing a perfect score, while Delhi and Uttar Pradesh each had two toppers. A total of 12,58,136 candidates appeared for the exam, held at 618 centres across 304 cities, including 15 international locations.
