Bengaluru: Enterprise HR technology platform Keka has opened a new engineering hub on Old Airport Road in Bengaluru and announced plans to hire more than 100 engineers over the next two years.
The new office brings Keka’s existing Bengaluru teams under one roof and is aimed at strengthening its research and development capabilities as the company expands its AI-native product strategy.
New hub to drive AI innovation
The engineering centre will allow Keka to tap into Bengaluru’s large pool of AI and engineering talent while supporting the development of new products for modern enterprises.
The company said the expanded engineering team will focus on integrating artificial intelligence into everyday HR workflows, helping organisations improve productivity and make better people-related decisions.
Keka CEO and Founder Vijay Yalamanchili said enterprise software is entering a phase where intelligence will increasingly be built into workflows.
He said Bengaluru’s technology talent would help the company develop the next generation of HR technology.
Company targets major growth
The expansion comes as Keka aims to achieve 10X growth in Annual Recurring Revenue since its Series A funding in 2022, supported by enterprise adoption and continued investment in product development.
Keka currently serves customers across India, the Middle East and North America, offering solutions covering HR, payroll, performance, talent and people operations.
Campus hiring to expand from 2027
Keka VP – People & Culture Abhijit Rao said the company’s AI strategy is intended to support HR professionals rather than replace the human element of workplace interactions.
The company also plans to expand its campus hiring programme from 2027 through deeper collaborations with universities.
The move is expected to strengthen Keka’s long-term pipeline of AI and technology talent while supporting its growing engineering operations in Bengaluru.
