Kodagu district, which was earlier ranked fifth in Karnataka’s SSLC results, has now moved up to the fourth position following the revaluation process, as reported by The New Indian Express.

Originally declared with a pass percentage of 82.21% on May 2, the district’s revised score now stands at 82.40%, a 0.19% increase that pushed Kodagu ahead of Shivamogga in the rankings.

This improvement comes after 25 students, who had previously failed, cleared their exams post-revaluation. Among them, 11 students were from Virajpet taluk, 13 from Somwarpet, and one from Madikeri.

These students, after being marked unsuccessful in the original results, have now been added to the list of those who passed, giving a noticeable lift to the district’s overall success rate.

Meanwhile, supplementary SSLC exams are currently underway in two centres per taluk across the district. Sixty-eight students, though already passed, are attempting to enhance their scores. Additionally, students who failed in specific subjects are taking the re-exams as repeaters.

The revised results and student determination highlight Kodagu’s strong academic spirit and push for improvement.
