KSRTC Crew Lauded for Swift Action in Aiding Ill Passenger
In a heartwarming act of kindness, the crew of a KSRTC bus acted swiftly to save the life of a young woman who fell ill while traveling. The incident occurred on a Shivamogga-Udupi KSRTC bus on Monday evening when a passenger, Suraksha, boarded the bus at Megaravalli and suddenly became unwell as the bus reached the ghat section.
The bus conductor, noticing her condition, promptly instructed the driver, Taresh, to take immediate action. Without delay, the bus was diverted to the Someshwara sub-primary health centre. However, when Suraksha’s condition did not improve, the crew decided to drive the bus straight to Hebri Government Community Hospital, with the police ensuring the bus faced no traffic delays.
Suraksha’s mother, Rekha, expressed deep gratitude for the crew’s prompt response, which undoubtedly helped in her daughter’s recovery. The driver and conductor’s actions have been widely praised by the public for their humanitarian effort.
