Chikkamagalur : An 11-year-old boy in Chikkamagalur hops behind the wheels of any given vehicle and drives around with ease on a patch of grass and dreams to be an equestrian champion.
Boy named ‘Hriday’ (means heart), unlicensed driver is very confident at the wheel and does not even strap on his seat belt .
Holding their hearts in their hands, proud parents Praveen and Rati of Tegur village in the district are overwhelmed by their son’s driving skills. Expert drivers in the area are awestruck when little Hriday switches vehicles and drives all of them including a Maruti car, farmer’s tractor, Rallyist’s Bolero not leaving behind gigantic earth mover Hitachi .
Hriday attributes his driving skills to keen observation which he acquired while roaming with his father in the family car. Supportive mother though scared is happy with her son’s ‘acquisition skills’ at a tender age.
Studying in fourth grade, Hriday is among the top performers in scholastic at his school and dreams to become an equestrian champion which again a surprise.
