Chikkamagaluru: In response to the tragic incidents where a solitary tusker claimed the lives of three individuals in the Malnad region, authorities have mandated the capture of the lone tusker.
An initiative has been initiated to capture two wild elephants, one of which is the lone tusker, effective immediately.
The residents of Mudigere in Chikkamagaluru district have been enduring frequent encounters with wild elephants. The decision to capture the elephant comes in light of persistent protests and demonstrations by the local populace.
