Chikkamagaluru: Vinayakumar, Assistant Teacher of Saint Joseph’s Church, said that everyone should pay more attention to their health.
He was speaking after inaugurating a free health check-up camp held at the compound of Malenadu Christian Development Association and Father Muller Hospital, Mangalore in the school premises belonging to Saint Joseph’s Church in the City. He appealed to all the people to participate in the high quality free health checkup camp and get its benefits and thus become healthy people. To build a healthy society, everyone should keep the environment around them clean, he said.
He praised the Malenadu Christian Development Association for organising such a good programme. P. J. Francis, President of Malenadu Christian Development Association, presided over the meeting. Cardiologists, Physicians, Orthopaedics, Gynaecologists, ENT Specialists, Paediatricians, Ophthalmologists, and Dermatologists participated in this camp and free blood tests, ECG, eye tests, ear and throat tests were done in the laboratory and patients were examined with new technology and medicines were given free of cost.
As many as 308 people were given free health check-up, said Satyaraj, who is the working Director of the Association. All the directors of the association participated and cooperated in this camp.
