Chikkamagaluru: An Innova car carrying passengers plunged into a 20-foot-deep ditch near Malaya Maruta of Charmadi Ghat, here on Tuesday November 22.
There were no recorded casualties in the incident that occurred inside the Banakal Police Station’s jurisdiction in the Mudigere Taluk.
According to sources, the Innova car carrying passengers was moving from Kolar toward Dharmasthala. The car’s driver lost control and fell into a 20-foot-deep ditch.
The passengers, however, were fortunate enough to just sustain minor injuries.
Later, a crane was used to lift the car.
