Chikkamagaluru: The official of Hassan Archaeological Museum Kumar visited the Jain Basadi found on Hiriyur Hill in Sakleshpura Taluk. His visit was to find historical traces.
Speaking after inspecting the Jain Basadi, Kumar said, “This Basadi is very ancient and if it is renovated, surely will be one of the best tourist destinations. By giving full information about this to the concerned superiors, the preamble for the restoration would be written as soon as possible, he said.
Gram Panchayat Project Development Officer Suresh, Secretary Nagesh, President Renu Kumar, Librarian Murthy, Village Development Members Satish and Nagaraj were present.
