Chikkamagaluru: Former MLA G. H. Srinivas has clarified that some people are spreading false propaganda against him during the elections and all of them are far from the truth.

Speaking to mediapersons in the Town, he said that in the last few days, some people including Former MLA T. H. Shivashankarappa, have been spreading misinformation about me and trying to create a wrong impression about me among the Congress party High Command. Last week, four to five people held a meeting at the Town Club. None of the Congress Party Leaders, ticket aspirants and Kuruba Community Leaders attended the meeting, yet they all have taken a collective decision and saying that if Former MLA G. H. Srinivas is given a ticket, they will stand as an independent and defeat him and work together even if anyone other than him is given a ticket.

“However, people and activists of the community are working by saying that the entire community has taken a decision,” he said.
