Chikkamagaluru: MLA C. T. Ravi said that he has never lagged behind in terms of development.
He was speaking after inaugurating the newly constructed Primary Health Centre at Hiremagaluru on the outskirts of the City at a cost of Rs 1.5 Crore. “Kalyani of Hiremagalur Village has been renovated during his tenure. A lot of temples in the village have been revived. Yatri Niwas Ambedkar Bhavan and Jagjivan Ram Bhavan has been constructed.
“Rs. 50 lakh has been given for the construction of a stone compound of the historic Sri Kodandaramachandra Swamy Temple in the Village. Now, the villagers have resolved to build Muthinamma and Kencharaya Temples and assured that he will always stand by them in that task.
A Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) grant of Rs. 50 Lakh from MRPL has been given to Mallegowda Government Hospital in the City. A well-equipped laboratory has been built with that money, he said.
He said Rs. 25 Lakh has been provided for the construction of a laboratory and a room for the graduate college on Belur Road. A grant of Rs. 32 Lakh from Bharath Building Construction (BBCL) has been given to 14 schools for the construction of smart classes.
He also thanked Shyam Prasad and brothers of Dani Vidya Coffee Institute who responded to his suggestion and request and constructed the Primary Health Centre building at Hiremagaluru.
District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr. Umesh and doctors were present.
