Chikkamagaluru: Police intensified search operations after they received vital clues that the main accused in DySP Kallappa Handibhag suicide case is now hiding outside Karnataka.
Disclosing the details Chickamagaluru SP Annamalai said, separate search team has been formed to nab Parveen Khandya, the prime accused in the case after confirmed reports of his whereabouts outside Karnataka were received by the police.
The case was handed over to the CID by the state government. The investigation officer was changed midway and the new officer is now aiding in search operations.
Praveen Khandya is the main accused in the Kidnap case of businessman Tejas Gowda which eventually led to suicide of DySP Kallappa Handibhag.
