Hassan: The Bharatiya Janata Party State President B S Yeddyurappa slammed Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy for speaking against actor/politician M H Ambareesh, here on Monday, March 25.
Addressing the rally for BJP candidate A Manju, BSY said, “CM HDK used to laud Ambareesh earlier but after his death, he questions his contribution. This will definitely hit back.”
He said, “I am shocked to see the ocean of people who have come in support of Manju but on the other hand, the Janata Dal (S) Supremo H D Deve Gowda who is contesting from Tumakuru constituency has brought people from other districts to participate in the rally.”
He confidently said that the party would win more than 22 seats out of 28 and that the people would not tolerate the ‘family politics’ by Deve Gowda.
Meanwhile, BSY told the media to wait and watch claiming that without ‘Operation Lotus’ the current state coalition government of Congress and JDS would face trouble.
He said that already around 20 Congress MLAs were unhappy with the functioning of the coalition government and after BJP wins more than 22 Lok Sabha seats, there would be a lot of development in state politics.
