Hassan: Despite the announcement of the Election Code of Conduct, posters of BJP parties are being displayed in many parts of the city.
Photos of BJP central leaders and state leaders and the writing of the manifesto for the elections were found on the compound near the newly laid concrete road in front of the government women’s primary and bifurcated school and college at Sri Gandhada Kothi premises near Rakshanapuram in the city.
The code of conduct came into effect from March 29 and a date has also been fixed for the removal of posters of parties. The deputy commissioner has also issued an order instructing the concerned officials to remove the poster. However, posters of the BJP have been found and there have been complaints that posters of different parties have not been removed in many parts of the country.
The concerned authorities need to look into it immediately.
