Hassan: JD (S) State President C. M. Ibrahim has said that some people are creating confusion in the JD (S) ticket for Hassan Assembly Constituency and every loyal worker has the right to ask for the ticket.

He was received by JD (S) workers led by MLA K. S. Lingesh near Nehru Circle while he was on his way to Chikkamagaluru Pancharathna Yatra.

Speaking to mediapersons he said that some people are creating confusion over the JD (S) ticket from Hassan. Swaroop and Bhavani Revanna have the right to ask for tickets and not only them but every Janata Dal worker has the right to ask for tickets. The party decides who to give it to, he said.

“Also, it is a complete lie that a meeting was called at J. P. Bhavan in Bengaluru recently. As a State President, it is I who should call for a meeting. There was no meeting. It is the creation of some miscreants,” he said.

He added, “I have been seeing for 50 years that there is no difference of opinion between Revanna and Kumaraswamy. It is only a misconception, he said, adding that there is no door to the Congress party’s house.

“We have already announced 93 candidates. If the Congress and the BJP really have the strength, let them first declare the candidates and who will be their party’s Chief Ministerial candidate. We have said that we are the children of farmers and H. D. Kumaraswamy will be the next Chief Minister,” he said.
