Hassan: Former Minister H. D. Revanna has said that the JD (S) is ready to face the Assembly elections even if the poll dates are announced tomorrow itself.
Speaking at Holenarasipura, he said JD (S ) Supremo H. D. Deve Gowda JD (S) leaders, including Deve Gowda, Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy and Party State President C. M. Ibrahim, said that they were devising strategies to decide the candidates to win in 224 Assembly constituencies.
Sources said JD (S ) Leaders are planning to announce the second list of candidates as soon as the Congress and BJP come out with the final list. Referring to the disqualification of Former ICC President Rahul Gandhi as an MP, Revanna accused the BJP of playing vendetta politics and targeting other leaders of major opposition parties.
