Hassan: In an incident that occurred at Mallapura village in Belur taluk on Tuesday May 4, a group of youth were chased by a wild tusker.
Following information that a wild tusker had strayed into the village, the youth went in search of the wild elephant. However, the elephant suddenly appeared in front of them from the road and began chasing them. The youth managed to escape unscathed.
However, the elephant has disappeared and yet to be traced. Therefore, fear is still lurking the villagers.
