CM calls up pregnant nurse attending duty in Shivamogga, asks her to take leave

Shivamogga: A nurse, who is in the ninth month of pregnancy has been attending duty regulary, without taking even a single day leave.

Bowing down to her dedication, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa himself has reportedly called her up and lauded her dedication and passion for work.

Roopa, a nurse deputed at Jayachamarajendra Hospital in Thirthahalli is one Corona WArrior who needs to be given a standing ovation.

She is only a few days away from delivering her baby and without fearing even a bit to Corona Virus, she has been travelling 120 kms everyday to reach to render her service.

A resident of Gajanur, the hospital where Roopa works is 60 kms away from her home.

When some netizens put up details about Roopa, tagging the CM, BSY could not resist but call the nurse and ask her take care of her health first.

The CM has asked the nurse to go on leave immediately and take care of her health.
