Cong to restart membership drive after 12 years in B’luru on Nov 14: Sundaresh

Shivamogga: The Congress Party will restart membership drive after 12 years with a launch in Bengaluru on November 14.

Speaking to mediapersons, here on Thursday November 11, District Congress Committee President H. S. Sundaresh said that the drive will be launched on November 14 to mark Former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru by All India Congress Committee for Karnataka General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar. The drive will be launched in Shivamogga on November 19 to mark Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s birth anniversary, he informed.

Further, he said that the sitting MLC R. Prasanna Kumar and Congress leader Y. H. Nagaraj are the aspirants for the coming legislative council polls from Shivamogga District. Randeep Singh Surjewala will hold a meeting with aspirants for the council polls in Bengaluru on Monday November 15, he added.
