Datta Jayanti: No entry to tourist places in Chikkamagaluru Dist

Shivamogga: The Chikkamagaluru District Administration has temporarily restricted people from visiting some tourist destinations in the Chikkamagaluru Taluk for five days starting from Thursday December 16.

The decision has been made in the wake of Datta Jayanti, which begins on Friday and will last three days at Shree Guru Dattatreya Bababudan Swamy Dargah.

According to the District Administration, tourists will be denied entry to Mullayyanagiri, Seetalayyanagiri, Manikyadhara, Honnammanahalla, and Shree Guru Dattatreya Bababudan Swamy Dargah in the Taluk from 6.00 am on Thursday till 6.00 am on Monday.

Tourists can, however, visit other places in the district.
