While a fake gun nowhere comes near the danger of a real one, it sure can be a nuisance to create chaos and fear among nearby residents, like the recent incident at the Sagar Market Road at Panamattagi. 

A young man walked there, in possession of what only he knew to be a fake gun, having fun at the expense of everyone’s peace. 

So, it is only normal that locals thrash him on later learning the truth, and the police come forward to arrest the accused. 

While all that the young lad may have wanted was some fun, we hope this is a learning for him, so that the next time there won’t be any more pranks with fake guns.
