Shivamogga: Vishwaprasanna Teertha Seer of Pejavara Matha in the evening of Monday April 18 visited the residence of BJP Leader K. S. Eshwarappa in Shivamogga and extended his support for the beleaguered leader who was recently forced to resign from the State Cabinet following the death by suicide of a contractor.
He expressed confidence that Eshwarappa will return to the cabinet soon. Seer also said that attempt towards peace and harmony should be done from both the sides.
“My senior seer always invited Muslims for Iftar. But Muslims never invited us to the mosque and felicitated us. The peace efforts must be done from both the sides,” he said. “If there is cooperation and efforts from both the sides, there will not be any issues,” he stressed.
