Shivamogga: Two persons were killed and over 70 others injured when two buses collided head-on with each other near Kumadvathi bridge in Shivamogga Taluk on the evening of Thursday May 11.
More than 70 people were reportedly injured when half of the two buses were completely damaged in the head-on collision. The condition of the three is stated to be critical and all the injured have been admitted to The McGANN Teaching District Hospital.
Police rushed to the spot and pulled out two bodies from the crushed buses. Police and locals have reportedly carried out rescue operations and helped in shifting the injured to hospital.
