Shivamogga: IndiGo on their official website (www.goindigo.in) has finally announced the commencement of flights from the much-awaited Shivamogga Airport, following its inauguration on February 27.
The flight operations are scheduled to begin from August 31, with the first flight departing from Bengaluru at 9.50 am and arriving in Shivamogga at 11.05 am. Ticket bookings for this inaugural flight have already started and can be purchased from 4 pm on Wednesday. The initial ticket price for the Bengaluru to Shivamogga route is set at Rs 6227, while the return flight will depart from Shivamogga at 11.25 am and reach Bengaluru at 12.25 pm. Subsequently, the ticket price for September 1 has been reduced to Rs 4,000 per ticket. Bookings are also available for connecting flights from Shivamogga to Bengaluru and Delhi, with further updates on ticket prices and connecting routes expected in the next few days, according to IndiGo officials.
