Shivamogga: MLA Eshwarappa challenged, “Let Siddaramaiah contest from Shivamogga. Let me get the credit of defeating him,” he added.

Replying to questions from mediapersons at a press conference, he said, “Siddaramaiah speaks no logic. He has nothing to do except criticise someone like Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has nowhere to contest in the State. He will not even stand in Badami and Chamundeshwari Constituencies. If he contests in Kolar, he will not win. BJP and I hwill ave the credit of defeating Siddaramaiah, who is like a nomad, if he comes to Shivamogga Constituency,” he said.

“If MLA Zameer Ahmed gives him a chance, he is likely to win with some Muslim votes as Siddaramaiah is a devotee of Tipu. Even if he wins, let him win. Let there be a person who speaks rudely in the House. Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa has also said that Siddaramaiah should contest from Badami and win. The same Siddaramaiah defeated Muniyappa. Kharge was also responsible for the defeat, pushing Srinivas Prasad out. There are no leaders among them and the BJP is asking for votes in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But they don’t even have a National leader. There are no State leaders. The BJP will get more than 50 leaders,” he said.

“The BJP is already preparing for the elections keeping in mind three factors of organisation, development and leadership. The Vijay Sankalp Yatra will begin from Wednesday March 1. The yatra will reach 224 constituencies in four teams. It will take the achievements of the Central and State Governments to the people. A team led by BJP National President J. P. Nadda will leave from Male Mahadeshwara Hills on the same day while Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s team will leave for Nandigudi on March 3 under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

State Leaders, MPs from their respective regions, State Office-bearers and, MLAs will participate in the Yatra. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the convention in Davanagere on March 25.
