Shivamogga: A man died after slipping and falling into a well at Hulegar in Khandika Gram Panchayat of Sagara Taluk in the District on Monday November 21.
The deceased has been identified as 57-year-old Madhukesh Bhat.
He accidentally slipped and fell into the well while he was drawing water from a well for the pooja. Locals noticed and called the Fire Brigade.
The Fire Brigade rushed to the spot and lifted the body from the well. The body has been shifted to the mortuary of Sagar Sub-Divisional Hospital and police are investigating.
Madhukesh was earlier associated with the Janata Parivar. He also performed pooja at the village temple.
