Shivamogga: In the wake of the Election Code of Conduct officials led by the Theerthahalli Returning Officer and Tahasildar raided the offices of various cooperative societies in Theerthahalli and checking the documents.
Rameshwar Multi-purpose Cooperative Society in Theerthahalli along with Saraswati Cooperative Society and Hemadri Cooperative Society were also raided. There are chances of checking of documents regarding financial transactions of these institutions.
Further, it is expected that more such institutions will be raided.
