Shivamogga: “I have visited the district to inaugurate ‘Udyog Mela’ and flag off different developmental works at Soraba, Anavatti, Hangal, and Shikaripura tomorrow,” Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said on Sunday, February 23.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, he said, “The Karnataka Budget 2020 to be tabled on March 5, will concentrate more on agriculture and irrigation. The district will witness a lot of developmental projects.”
“The construction work of the Sigandur Bridge has been already initiated. It is important to establish industries in the district, for which the airport should be ready. Our government will see to it that in the next three and a half years, a sincere attempt is made to complete all the projects,” he added.
Responding to questions regarding the Opposition party’s claims that the tax money, which was supposed to be granted by the 15th Finance Commission of the Central government, had still not come, BSY said, “We have made necessary arrangements for it.”
