Chitradurga: The police arrested a man accused of raping a woman, who is deaf and mute here in Holalkere on Friday, September 17.
The arrested has been identified as Nagesh who hails from Lakshmisagar of Chitradurga. According to the sources the woman was returning from Davangere at late night in the last bus. While she was heading towards home the man followed and allegedly raped her.
Holalkere town police have filed the case and the investigation is on.
