Nagamangala (Mandya Dist.): A tragic accident occurred on Thursday near Sriramanahalli Gate in Nagamangala taluk, Mandya district, resulting in the death of three individuals and serious injuries to three others. The collision involved a car and a canter vehicle. The deceased have been identified as Siddesh (38) from Hirehemmiganuru in Holalkere taluk, Yuvaraj (55) from Arasinaghatta, and Thippesh (58) from Mudukaduru.
The injured passengers, Darshan, Nataraj, and Vijay Kumar, sustained severe injuries. One has been transferred to a private hospital in Bengaluru, while the other two are receiving treatment at the Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences. The victims were traveling from Holalkere to Mysuru when the accident happened.
Nagamangala police promptly arrived at the scene to investigate the incident. The post mortem examinations were conducted at the taluk hospital, and the bodies were subsequently handed over to the family members.
