Mangalore: The CCB police in Mangaluru have arrested two persons for selling the drug MDMA. The arrested have been identified as Kaushik Devadiga (26) and Mohammed Irshad (29).
The two young people were illegally in possession of MDMA, a narcotic drug, and sold it to the public near the Guttakadu bus stand in Mulki Kinnigoli Talippadi village of Moodabidri taluk.
Acting on a tip-off, the two persons were arrested and MDMA weighing 9 grams and worth Rs 45,000 was seized from them. CCB UNIT ACP P A Hegde, Police Inspector Shyam Sundar H M, PSI Rajendra B, Sudeep M V, Sharanappa Bhandari, Narendra and CCB staff participated in the operation of detection of the drug network.
