Mangaluru: A tragic incident occurred in Kedila village of Bantwal taluk, where a 14-year-old boy lost his life after being struck by lightning during thunderstorms on Sunday evening.
Incident Details
The deceased, identified as Subodh (14), a resident of Gadyara in Kedila, was standing in the courtyard of his house when lightning struck.
- He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Puttur.
- Unfortunately, Subodh succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.
