Mangaluru: A 24-year-old woman has been reported missing from Shivajinagar in Pachchanady, prompting police to register a case at the Mangaluru Rural Police Station.
Woman left home for interview, never returned
The missing woman, identified as Ashwini, was living in a rented house with her husband and was seeking employment. According to the complaint filed by her husband, Ashwini had shared her personal details with Vinu, an acquaintance of his colleague Shubha.
She had earlier accompanied both Shubha and Vinu for a few job interviews. On September 10, her husband saw her leave in a car with Vinu for an interview. She returned home later that evening.
However, on September 11, she left home again saying she had another interview but failed to return.
Police register case
In his complaint, Ashwini’s husband expressed suspicion that she may have gone with Vinu. Based on his statement, police have registered a missing person’s case and begun investigation.
Further details on her whereabouts remain unknown.
