67 Year Old Farmer Chandrahass Shetty Dies In Tragic Lorry Scooter Collision In Manjanady

Chandrahass Shetty (67), a resident of Kallekaruguttu, Paivalike, Manjeshwar, lost his life in a tragic accident involving a lorry and a scooter near Manglanti Mosque, Manjanady, on the evening of September 5. Shetty, a progressive farmer known for his active involvement in social activities and religious services, was traveling to Kallekaruguttu from his wife’s house in Harekal Debbeli when the lorry collided head-on with his scooter.

The collision, caused by a lorry reportedly speeding from Nettipadu towards Natekal, resulted in Shetty dying on the spot due to the severe impact. The Mangaluru South Traffic Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the accident.
