Actor Vishal Seeks Blessings in Mangaluru, Moved by Daiva Kola Ritual
Tamil actor Vishal arrived in Mangaluru on Wednesday, where he visited several revered temples and performed special pujas. Among his key stops was the Jarandaya temple in Haripada, Mulki taluk, where he offered jasmine flowers and prayed for his well-being.
Spiritual Encounter at Daiva Kola
During his visit, Vishal experienced a powerful moment of divine assurance. The Daiva (deity), through a sacred gesture, is believed to have blessed him with protection and recovery. Deeply moved, Vishal participated in the Daiva Kola ritual for three hours and received prasadam.
Reflecting on the experience, he shared, “I had only seen Daiva Kola and Nemotsava in Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara,’ but witnessing it firsthand was profound. I also visited the Kollur Mookambika temple and feel truly blessed.” He further promised to perform ‘Thula Bhara’ next year if his health fully recovers.
Vishal’s Karnataka Roots & Health Concerns
Though established in Tamil Nadu, Vishal has deep Karnataka ties, as his father hailed from Bengaluru. He also shared close bonds with Kannada cinema legends, including the late Puneeth Rajkumar.
His health issues first surfaced during promotions for Madha Gaja Raja, where he appeared weak and visibly unwell, sparking concerns among fans. Later, he clarified that he was recovering from a viral fever and had taken a break for rest.
