The All India Democratic Students’ Organisation (AIDSO) has submitted an appeal to the Karnataka State Education Policy (SEP) Commission, advocating for the development of a pro-student education curriculum.
The SEP Commission, in collaboration with the Karnataka State Board of Higher Education and Mangalore University, organized a workshop on ‘Curriculum Design and Structure’ at the Mangalore University auditorium on Wednesday.
A delegation led by Vinay Chandra, a state secretariat member of AIDSO, participated in the meeting and presented their perspectives. Chandra emphasized that the curriculum should engage students in deep learning and reflect the ideals of notable figures. He stressed the importance of promptly addressing any confusion that arises during the academic year.
The AIDSO delegation submitted a memorandum to SEP commission members S. Bhushan, A. Narayan, Rajendra Chenni, and Bhagyawan, requesting the development of a student-friendly curriculum.
