A serious accident occurred near Alur when Dharmaraj, an architect, collided with a divider while driving in heavy rain. The incident happened near Bijjanahalli Cross as Dharmaraj was traveling from Mangaluru to Bengaluru. Due to the downpour, he lost visibility of the road, leading to the crash.
