A BMW vehicle was completely consumed by fire in Adyar on Saturday, September 28, leading to major traffic congestion in the area. According to bystanders, the blaze spread rapidly, leaving the car entirely destroyed before any attempts to extinguish the flames could be made.
Crowds quickly gathered at the scene as curious onlookers watched, while the fire caused traffic to come to a standstill for a significant period.
This marks the second incident this month involving a BMW catching fire. On September 5, a similar situation unfolded in Surathkal, where another BMW was reduced to ashes in a sudden blaze.
Investigators are currently looking into the source of the fire to determine what may have led to the vehicle’s ignition.
