Puttur: The body of 29-year-old Badruddin D.K., who had been missing since Sunday, was found hanging in a forested area near Sediyapu on Monday morning. Badruddin, who worked at the Padil Chicken Centre in the city, was last seen on Sunday before his sudden disappearance sparked concern among his family members.
Police suspect suicide due to financial distress
According to preliminary findings, authorities suspect that Badruddin may have died by suicide, with early indications pointing towards financial stress as a possible cause. Police officials said that the exact circumstances surrounding his death will be confirmed only after the investigation is completed.
Badruddin’s body was discovered by locals who alerted the police. A team from Puttur Police Station reached the spot, conducted an on-site inspection and sent the body for post-mortem examination.
Deceased leaves behind grieving family
Badruddin, who was unmarried, is survived by his mother, an elder brother, an elder sister, a younger brother and a younger sister. His sudden death has left the family devastated, especially given the short time between his disappearance and the recovery of his body.
