Mangaluru, June 21, 2024: Mangaluru International Airport at Bajpe was recently subjected to a bomb threat hoax on June 18. The threat, received via email to airport authorities at 12:43 noon, claimed that a bomb had been planted on the premises and was set to explode imminently.

Following the threat, security officials conducted a comprehensive search of the airport premises. Upon finding no suspicious objects or threats, they subsequently filed a complaint at the Bajpe police station.
